Warriors of the Klingon Empire come to drink and sing songs of past glory

This was a very wonderful convention over all, we did have it Ustreamed live, but few took advantage of the free feed to the convention, but did not stop us from having the show either, as the Lou Trek show got interviews from all the stars at the convention. Garret Wong got interviewed for the Indianapolis Star and you can go and see his interview at www.indystar.com and put in search Starbase Indy. The gathering of Klingons at Starbase Indy was a wonderful meeting, and we loved it so much that we are working to prepare already for next year event to make it a more "Klingon" friendly as well. Several of us got on in the local paper as well, and I will get it scanned and put on the here for everyone to see as well.

Now I like to annouce that the convention Roddenberry productions like the Lou Trek Show and wants to interview us for a future article there writing, and they took a lot of our business cards to pass around to Gene Roddenberry Jr and his folks. Jeff Rector as well has a Radio show in LA and wants to work with myself and Lou, so we may be doing a lot more in the future as well.

There was several folks who was very interested in the Klingon culture and contacted myself about varies aspects from club organizations to uniforming, so we will be seeing a few new folks from Indiana joining the Klingonspace social network.

Next year I like more of the Klingon Empire to come and join us at Starbase Indy, so please plan ahead for this event, the more who come the bigger and better it will be, and yes we are planning to have our own KLINGON PARTY ROOM.

Anyone who would like to keep abreast of the convention for next year, please join the group Starbase Indy, and Kim and myself will keep you up to date on everything, and anyone has any suggestions as well, post them on the group site to let Kim know what you are thinking.

Pictures will be coming as soon as we get over the high of the convention and my wife get them downloaded from her camera.

I like to take the time to THANK everyone who attended the covention from a far away places as California and Texas to the west, your coming made the experence a whole lot better, and to the more local Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois and Ohio folks who as well attended, everyone of you help bring some much needed Klingon presence into the convention.

Great deeds, Great songs

Hello All, Iam Clara the mate of HoD K'Rad. I just wanted to share my thoughts on Star Base Indy. It was so IMPRESSIVE to see so many Klingons at the convention. It was breath taking to see a group enter the area. Your costumes and apparel were absolutely amazing. I wish I could have had a red carpet run way area and just talk about costuming! But, more importantly, I so appreciated talking to so many of you. Each of you left a unique and inspiring impression on me. I found your spirits insightful, honorable and enlightening. I look forward to talking and meeting with all of you again. I can't wait for the next convention!
