New armour

Hi people, or should that be nuqneH?

I've been away for a while. . . Trying to get better, (I've already lost more than a stone.) Looking forward to being fighting fit.

I'm currently sewing a new set of Klingon armour. Starting with the stripes.  (Adding a piece of braid under the vinyl to raise the piping at the edges, and I'm awaiting some grey Russian style braid off ebay to finish the edge of each stripe.)

I've already made a new belt buckle. I already have the Spine-guard here, and the collar pins on order. I'm basing it on General Martok's "Ring collar" design. I'm going to base this one on a fabric base to try and keep the weight of the armour down.

I've made the pins for the Sash, I have some chainmail for it too. I also have a load of fabric for the command cloak in the hall cupboard. Including the silver metallic front fabric for the chest-piece, and a long black zip for the back. . .

I have plenty of sewing to do. So I'll sign of here, with Qapla'
