Warriors of the Klingon Empire come to drink and sing songs of past glory

For those of my fellow Klingons who are not already familiar with Klin Zha you should acquaint yourselves with the game. The Authorized Klin Zha Homepage contains not only the rules for the game itself, but also software versions you may download to pit youself against a computer or sentient opponent (if one is available). The site's address is http://www.tasigh.org/takzh/. That is all.

Excellent point Warg, I can easily see boffer weapons as an excellent alternative. I will have to read up on the rules and see about how to go about converting it over to live action, of course any input or assistance from my fellow Klingons is appreciated. Kishin, in answer to your question I often see myself as a Fencer - although I would also enjoy playing a Lancer as well.

When I dream of The Game with Live Pieces, I am a Swift. And you?

This past summer I participated (on a limited level) in a medieval Live Action Role Play event. The simulated combat, using foam "boffer" weapons, would lend itself very well to a live action Klin Zha match; or any sort of "holographic training programme".

LOL. Do not drug your vict, er, I mean your "guests", it dulls their senses and makes them useless as opponents. ;' ) I became intensely interested in playing Klin Zha when I first read Ford's book, oh so long ago. I tried to get my friends from HS involved with a live action version of Klin Zha but it never came to fruition. Its good that a fellow Klingon devoted his programming skills to creating a Klin Zha program that we can use to practice on and challenge others with. Personally I need to practice before I think I would be a worthy vict, uh, adversary. ;' )=

Awhile ago I printed out a board and peices..still have them in fact. Now if I could only find some people to play with. lol I'd much rather play a live being than a computer, but I do love the game and it looks like that's my option if I want to play. thanks for the reminder! I will go dig out my set and see if I can trap...er..... invite somebody to play :)
