About Me:: IC: Tavana was born Alexandra Steele to Federation officers. After her parents died in the line of duty, she was adopted by Captain Kane, a Pro-Federation Klingon and close friend of the Steeles.

It was a struggle for Tavana growing up, She felt she had to constantly prove herself to her father, as well as Klingon society. For in her heart, Tavana believes herself to be Klingon. Even surviving the Klingon Accademy as it's first human graduate.
