A message from Emperor Klag

Greetings Warriors and Citizens of The Empire,

Almost fifteen years ago, a small group of us created The Empire. High among our desires was a notion to create a club where members had a voice, and most importantly - to implement rules that would prevent a dictator from taking over the club for themselves. We were most proud of the latter, and would use it to promote how great of a club we were.

I now am shocked to find that one of the Founders themselves has become that very dictator. The Empire has been taken by force from its rightful owners, the membership and has been placed under an LLC known as the Imperial Press for it's own "protection". It would seem that Chancellor Krahl, even though he is nothing more than the latest annual ELECTED leader of the membership, determined that The Empire would be made part of this LLC without seeking the permission to do so from the membership, the High Council or anyone else.

Nothing associated with the Office of Chancellor, the Articles of Council or any other foundational guideline of The Empire grants this magnitude of sweeping "powers" to anyone to make such radical changes to the entire structure of The Empire without consultation of the membership. Krahl was certainly aware of this requirement as Chancellor and simply elected to ignore it and execute his plan anyway in secret and without the approval of anyone.

It needs to be realized that our organization & it's forums are now both Krahl's sole legal property , and by controlling the website - he controls the club in total and always will from this point forward. He has blatantly appointed himself as not only "First Regent" or "Protector of The Empire" but also the "Supreme Commander of The Empire" (Chancellor being the former title here).

These positions are the 2 highest posts within this unapproved structure and apparently Krahl felt the membership should embrace his self appointment rather than have a say as to if he got to hold them both or if they were even needed at this time.

The High Council has been all but removed. Any new guidelines that had been passed have been declared void because Krahl doesn't like them. New rules are being written without consent or input of the membership being sought.

Krahl has created a new club and is attempting to unwillingly incorporate the present membership into it. He perceives all who oppose his actions as his enemies and delights in removing them from HIS Empire.
As the Emperor of The Empire, I have no recourse but to declare The Empire dissolved! The group that Former Chancellor Krahl now leads is NOT The Empire, but something of his own creation. Former members of The Empire have absolutely no obligation to follow Krahl, or any of the Leaders of this new club.

I further declare that Krahl's actions are without Honor and that he is Discommendated throughout the Klingon Empire. Let the name "Krahl" no longer be spoken where warriors of Honor gather!
