Warriors of the Klingon Empire come to drink and sing songs of past glory

A word we all use, but what is Honour?

It's been said that in battle, nothing is more honourable than victory. Is this so, even if you're responsible for a massacre.

What is personal Honour to you?

hmm as in real life...My Honor...is my trustworthyness.....my honesty.....my reputation....my compassion....
to uphold all that I hold dear.....to put an injustice right......

For without honor..I am nothing.....this old puss has made many a long-standing friendship with many klingons....Honor is something earned...it is not a gift...
Honour. I like the Angleterran augment, that "u."

In my "real" life to serve the friendships and loves I have committed to. To ahve an eye for the new ones incoming, to grow them.

In fannish life, the same. To do my best.

Kishin, however, was bred for the sneak attack. Empire first, but her way:-)
Honour for me and something I aspire to everyday is honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.

I love sayings like:

"Do the right thing because it's the right thing to do!" i.e no other reason is necessary, it doesn't matter if no-one would know either way... right is right..

"If you have nothing to loose by trying and everything to gain by success then try and keep on trying" Good for fighting procrastination.

Also if you don't know if a deadline is possible don't promise you'll keep it.. I get that a lot at work... I say I will do my best but if I don't know if a deadline is possible I won't agree to it... I will however put in a very long day to do my best.

Honour is not an easy thing to pin down but for the most part it's what attracted me to Klingon in the first place. Apart from the violence side I try to live everyday to my Klingon Honour code..
