Lushy had just left Clara's quarters....well aware what lay ahead of her..
This was going to be one of the hardest things she had ever done, but, like always her mind was fully focused.
Lushy went back to her own quarters where she invoked an old Caitian
Matriarch called 'Adepti Levine' "child what ails thee" she said "to awaken me from my sleep", Lushy explained everything to Adepti
Levine, who looked long and hard into Lushys eye's
"child...your path has been one of hardships and pain..and yet..this means nothing to you..Honor..is like a second skin to you..it is this second skin that will ease the pain of your mission...Here child take this" and she handed Lushy a full Adepti Warriors appareal "you will go into battle with your heritage behind you...and my blessings"...
As always the Adepti chose to leave of her own accord leaving Lushy revigored and renewed....
She donned her Caitian clothes....annointed her body with an oil...and when she was ready..left to go the holo suites....

Knowedge, it is the one weapon that any Klingon much have in order to be the greatest of all. Anyone can learn to fight, that simple, but to be able to know what fighting is, and now it works against your enermies is another. A great Klingon wrote that a great warrior is one who can never truly be known, for every battle he changes who he is, and makes his foes unknown of what he will do.I always stride to be the one who does everything different in every battle, to be the one who can not be known, it has saved me many of times. Lushy haste to acting Captain made her realized that she has not known everything, she stops in a holosuite and open up K'Rad database of programs, on Makura homebase, she remembered that he had programed the knowedge of his life into varies programs for training, if she was to win a spot as a wolf, she must know how to be the wolf. Her hunch was correct, K'Rad had left her something in his programs, the sly owl. She opened the program, strange lights appear, and it ask her to prove her clan line. The necklace and Klingon symbol was placed on the marker.
I see you are the guardian of the past, welcome dark cat to my database, how may I assist you. This was so strange, to have K'Rad just standing there like a computer terminal, taking request like a robot.
"Poisons types, Clan of the wolves, coma" The program begain to change and the black dire wolf appears next to K'Rad,"Sorry Lushy, you have to prove you are worthy of being called a wolf kitty, I can tell you this much, it a poison which is made by 2 plants on the homeworld and they grow in the wolves sector of the planet, by be warned they are guarded by the real salvage wolves of the namesake of the clan, and if you run across the black one, it a sure death, only one person has ever defeated one, that is Da'Har Master K'Rad, during his trial of the wolves.

Lushy of the dark cat, to attempt to join the wolves without a invite has never been done, lore tells that if a leader is defeated in real life, there victor will as well win in the spirit realm of wolves, keep this in mind. The hologram returns to normal and request you to imput your question.

Deep into the coma, K'Rad mind was very much awake, but not in the reality of the living, but the spirit world, the black dire wolf seemed out of place in the den of wolves he had entered. The larger white wolf, her stare was a mockery of him as he enter, was now laughing hard at the new arrive."Here is the high priest KHAN,now just a rotting corpse on a med bed in the real world and a member of the proud wolf clan honored and not so honored dead, and look he out of place, all black and helpless to hide in our world. I will enjoy tomenting you for the end of time, black one." I could only look and smile, as a few of the of the wolves begain to encirle me, knowing that I now must deal directly with this situation once and for all, I just moved to where I felt my place was and then the strikes come from everywhere. Attack after attack, I dodged or striked, hurting, crippling, or killing every foe who dared me. After bout 10 or so attacks, it was clear that this wolf was not going to go easy, but still the large she wolf just smiled and stared at him, then something happened she did not expect, the pack begain to surround her, my howl was enough to make the clan stop in it tracks. "My dear, there is only one ALPHA in this pack, and you are not it anymore, I have bested the best of your clan, and soon I will depart for the real world again, and stop this crusade you and K'Beth have started." The laugh was so vile, even the others in the clan cringed in fear, "No Khan, you are soon to be a perment guest of the clan, and you did defeat me in battle, I have the last word on the fate of our clans. I poisoned you, putting you in a deep coma, from which only a wolf clan, your daughter can only pull you out, and when she does, I will as well put her down as well, and both of you will watch as we will the total destuction of your clan." Realizing what she had done, the loud growl of pure hatred was a powerful as B'Laura laugh earlier, "you have not realized yet have you, there one other who could free me, you forget who is now back, but how would you know that her abilities of seeing the past is her clan gift, you was never given that knowedge, only us priest have that ability.
If I know my daughter, she already preping Lushy to come and challenge the leader of the pack for the right to become one of us." Her smile was so reinsuring, and so evil. "That is correct, she would have to get the approval of the clan leader, and I will insure you put her thru hell PACK LEADER K'Rad." I had realized that Lushy fight would not be with B'Laura, but with me. To free me, she must defeat the spirit she wants to save, myself, and by clan law I must make it as hard for her to complete this task.

Lushy went back to her quarters...she had more than alittle on her mind, B'Laura had whispered in her ear a few words and put a cloth sachet in her right hand, as she looked at it..she instantly knew what to do with it..
"Qaltar" she said thru her comms unit "I will be in my quarters until further notice..I'm not to be disturbed under any circumstances..no matter what..ok", Qaltar acknowledged her order and then she was left alone in silence.....
Lushy poured the sachet out into a small bowl..adding oil of Caitian to it..she mixed it slowly..blessing The Matriarch and then set it alight...
The room went black....silent as the grave....suddenly a large Totem appeared..illiminating the room in silver light..the shadow of a huge silver wolf appeared...Lushy stared directly at the wolf..she became one with it...
"Daughter of the Silver Wolves..your destiny is at hand...take this sliver of still beating heart...eat of it....drink the still warm blood....become one with me...Stand Daughter of the Silver Wolves...take this wolverine Mekleth..it is engraved with your House insignia...You alone are the Head of the Silver Wolves Clan...embrace your future....learn of your past....

Lushy found herself beside a circle of Totems...K'rads ancestors stood side by side....K'Beth was on trial for genocide..she had eliminated an entire planet....the same planet K'rads family was on....The past became all to clear to Lushy...
"Daughter..your path is clear.....you must avenge the Lost Souls.....
you have the abilities of the Silver Wolves...use them well...we will speak more of this..in the future...Go Daughter of the Silver Wolves..
Bring Honor to our House..."

Lushy awoke....differant..her purpose was clear...

She left her quarters in search of Clara....

The small Kllngon female at the other end of her viewscreen shocked even Lusly, K'Rad daughter was in fact a very small Klingon indeed and her very pointy ears was even more of a shock to her. "That the situation as it is, with K'Rad in a coma and K'Beth still out there, I am guessing that she will be hunting you down next." A phase, and thinking she stoped and reply,"I think I know what happened to my father, but if it true we have a bad situation here, we would have to summon his spirit totem, and with him out, there no way of finding out short of one way, me doing the summoning as the other high priest of the house, and that could put us in a bad situation, if the bear and her follows are setting us up. What Im guessing is that B'Laura use one of her many speciality mixtures from her clan medical lore, beside the ferious fighter they are, there noted for there advance curing and there very deadly poisons, if she used one of them on her batleth, only she would know which one, and to access her totem and the clan lore, we need someone of the wolf to access it, leaving only my dad and me to have that access." Lushy now is even more confused, and ask a simple question, "what is my clan abilities?" Smiling at her, "you my dear have been the our guardians and our scouts till your departure from our world, till your clan departure, you clan was like the bear and the lion, standing side by side, protecting each other, you was the one who took the fight first and supported by my clan, we was almost unstoppable. I would consult your totem, Lushy the past is also your ally, you also carried the ablility to see what happened in the past, and you lore might have a clue to the situation you need, I sending you the ritural you need to do to summon your spirit totem outside the ritual area, this might help you as well." As the secure transmission beeps to Lushy compter, "Lushy I also sent you something else, the ritual to become a wolf, or to become a wolf warrior, this as well could grant you access to the wolf totem, but we warned, it one of the hardest ones to do next to bears." "aknowedge and thank you again for your assistance, I will keep you abreast of K'Rad condition as it changes, Lushy out." Lushy rushes out to see the Clara, and with some luck find the way to free there K'Rad of this situation he is in.

"Sickbay to bridge, Commader I need you down here." Perplexed by the request, Lushy headed to the sickbay. Standing at the bed was Ensign Trout and the doctor, "I can not explain why he will not wake up, it like he in a coma, and I have no clue on how to treat it." Lushy looked at K'Rad and wondering why he not recovered. "Lushy I tested the blood sample from your blade as ordered, I do not know who you was fighting, but it was not K'Beth blood what was on our weapons, and now the K'Rad out, is there something I don't know about ?"

Lushy looking puzzled and confused even more now then before, "Lushy I am assuming my duty, I want you to stand in as First Officer, do you have any problems with this" A soft growl come bout, but she is the next senior officer after K'Rad, "No I understand, and be honored to serve under you, but I want the bear for my own, with all do respect." Nodding and understanding of Klingon honor, she agreed with her first officer request. "I like you to contact the Clan Chal'SuS, maybe the high priestess there can help with K'Rad condition. "Yes. I will get right on it. I need to catch you on what happening as well, you been out for a few days, and I feel you need briefed on the situation." "Follow me then and lets get this done, we got a lot of things left to finish and a bear and lion to kill this day, Lushy." commented Trout as they both left sick bay to deal with the new situation at hand.

The Ship had gone thru many battles..but this time..it was still intact...the crew had guarded the ship well...Lushy had diverted the Bears attention to them when they all beamed over...
The ship was buzzing with sounds of victory...

Qaltar put himself in front of Lushy ordering his men to protect all sides....Lushy felt odd..something inside of her was restraining itself not to be let out ..yet! She felt the dark cat in her, rear its head..it smelt the Bear..and wanted justice!!! Warriors ran towards them from all directions, Qaltars men had killed quite a few already..then a deafening roar split the air "So you dare to enter the Bears lair..cat! This will be your undoing..Guards!!!! take the klingons to the brig..I will deal with them shortly..bring the Cat to my quarters!". Qaltar and his men had fought bravely..3 had been injured and what was left of them helped their kin to the brig....Lushy, on the other hand, had taken 3 of the guards out already...it took 4 of them to subdue her..Qaltar grinned..their plan was working...as he watched the spitting and hissing cat carried off..he ordered his men to stand down..for now!
Lushy was unceremoniously dumped on the floor of the Bears quarters...the Bear was standing staring at her..trying to get inside her head; but Lushy had armed her mind with her Adepti weapons..she watched as a frustrated Bear turned her back. "You are a curious choice for K'rad to have made...You arm your mind well", Lushy stood up and paced the room...."you think to probe my mind Bear..you know nothing of Caitins", the Bear smiled.."arh...I know enough..this will prove fruitful for me" and then she launched herself at Lushy...Talons met..blood was spilt..The Bear bit and clawed...Lushy defended herself
with all the wits she had..her body felt each blow..her blood flowed..The Bear roared..and lunged with a curious mekleth..it tore into Lushys arm...Lushy stopped short and used her Adepti mind probe..Damn!!!
the Bears mind was filled with madness and rage..it hated K'rad...
"bah!!"roared the Bear.."you are a worthy enemy..but you will die..nonetheless"....
Lushy felt a stirring inside..it invaded her mind, taking over body and soul..the room darkened...and the Black Cat emerged an eeirie shadow enveloping Lushys body...the Bear took a step back..she hadn't calculated this...The black cat used Lushys body like a fine weapon...tearing at the Bear..teeth filled with the Bears flesh..
The bear screamed and lunged more..catching the Black Cat..but in reality..making deep wounds on lushys body..The black Cat stood perfectly still and the shadow of the Scorpion emerged...the two melded into one killing machine, and made a final lunge at the Bear...
The Bear in all its worthiness..succumbed..its head left its body..blood was like a river...The Black Cat - Scorpion grew into a brilliant light...
and divided again..leaving the Black Cat standing over the vessal called Lushy...she was near death...
The black Cat dissipated and ran amok on the ship...killing any guards it encountered..it went to the Brig..and eeireily said " Your comrade has fallen..she proved her Honor.." letting the Klingons out, it added "never question her again..she is and always be..a High Priestess of The Black cat...now go!! Take her home....Justice has been served on this day.." and then it evaporated into thin air...

Safely back on board, Qaltar escorted Lushy to sick bay..
Dr. B'Leylra took over running around..it was serious..K'rad was awake..and shot a glance at Lushy..Qaltar stood and bowed before K'rad..."It is done...Victory is yours my Captain.." and put a holo-vid inside K'rads hand.."I retrieved this from Lushy..and..here is my own personal unit..it has words from the Black Cat.." he bowed and left...his men needed Bloodwine..Victory was theirs...

K'rad was very quietly watching the two holo-vids....he had indeed made the right choice....

Lushy ordered Qaltar to her ready room...."We must do K'rad proud..is that understood Qaltar!...There will be no room for mistakes...of ANY kind!...Get your men into order..we're going into battle..meet me back on the bridge in 10 minutes..there's something I have to do first"....
Lushy made her way to sickbay where Dr. B'Leylra gave her a questioning look..but did not stop her..
Lushy stood by K'rads bed and looked at the battle torn Captain, she would make sure he got his honor back..no matter what.."sleep easy Captain...for Victory is just a heartbeat away", as she turned to leave Dr. B'Leylra said "May your Gods keep keep a watchful eye over us all"
Lushy bowed and left.

Lushy stood tall and proud on the bridge, she addressed the crew "We are going into Battle! I expect every one of you to give me your best..our lives depend on each of us looking out for the other...Now!!
Sing us a song one of you"..to which Qaltar himself sang..

to which there was a resounding roar of approval from all...
Lushy had the ship on alert, and anything suspicious was to her reported no matter how small...

The next 24 hrs was uneventful, it was upto Qaltar to keep his men in check so they didn't become complaceant..
"Sir!!!" a young ensign said " there's a weird ping sound...about 1000 meters off us ..:; Lushy cut him short "cloak us...sound alert...eye's peeled..photon's at the ready.."
The crew smelled the battle ahead..Qaltar sang louder and stronger
giving a Lushy a nod.
"Sir!...200 meters "..lushy replied "Stop all engines..stand by at the ready.."
but she was cut off by an incoming communication that lit up the bridge....
"Arhhhhh.....so you are the Dark Cat..."
to which Lushy replied "and you are the bear!..."
"I've heard much of your.....philanderings....you will be easy to defeat!"
Lushy hissed loudly and silently replied " becareful...for in your estimation of me...you know Nothing..."...the Bear laughed loudly
"It will be a pleasure indeed...to squeeze the life from your body.."
Lushy motioned to qaltar to put Plan A into action...while Lushy stood infront of the screen..Qaltar and 6 of his finest men went to the transporter room..they were to wait for her signal..
"I could stand and talk all day" lushy said "but I've better things to do" and shut off all communications..
"Crew!!! stand by and defend your stations and the ship..I'm beaming over there" there were protests but she held her hand up " she does NOT know caitians...prepare to standby my signal to beams us back over..have sickbay on alert...we go into Battle"..
Lushy ran to the transporter room..joined Qaltar and his 6 men..signed
to the engineer to beam them over.."QA'PLA!!!"
They disintergrated silently...they had been beamed over just outside
the docking bays....the hum of the Bears ship was ominus...she could smell the Bear.....
As they made there way ro the bridge an alarm went off...

Stiff and still somewhat weak from the ferious fight on the planet, K'Rad slowed movments did not stiop him from returning to the bridge. The turbolift give his stomach a ride of a lifetime, and when the door open, his shakey enterence caught even Lushy by surprise. "Lushy status report?"
" We have met with the taskforce and have begun the hunt for the bear Sir, but as yet her ships have not been found." Looking around at the stares of the crew, K'Rad goes and sits in his chair, the weakness showed as he dropped into the Captain's Chair. "Sir with all do respect, you should be in sickbay, and not on the bridge." Giving her a look that would have even made Kahless cringe in absolute fear, "Commander, are you ordering me off the bridge?" Then the turbolift door opens and Dr.B'Leylra come into the bridge, and her face of pure rage was showing, even for a rare human fusion Klingon. "I thought I make it clear K'Rad you was not fit for duty, now get up and let me take you back to sickbay and get you back to full health." Standing up, walking to the Doctor, "this mission is too important right now to have me stuck in sickbay when I can recover here on the bridge where I belong, doctor." with a growl when he spoke doctor. "qIj'Makura, for once let the dark cat of the house hunt for you this time, you will not be no good for us if you are not well when we find them, even you must see the logic in my words." The wisdom was sound, but even with that, the drive for this hunt has grown hot in K'Rad veins, to rid himself of one more dishonor from his past, has made him now very hard to keep away from this hunt. Passing out and as he stood up to leave, made it all to clear that K'Rad condition was not going to be something that will heal soon."emergecy beam to sickbay" as the bridge crew watch both the doctor and the Captain disappear from the bridge. Lushy looked over the bridge,"Ok folks you know what has to be done, it time to go bear hunting, and I looking forward to digging my claws into this bear personnely."
