Backing Martek Dok'Marr and Di'Larh Dok'Marr as the EpetaI's of House Dok'Marr

As I was the mate of the late Lord K'Log epetaI Dok'Marr, I Lady Vekma Dok'Marr~Kpel and my new mate Lord K'Taj epetaI K'pel back both these Honorable Warriors to take over the seats of House Dok'Marr's EpetaIs. It is my dream that these two Warriors can reunify the House and bring it back together again as a strong House like it used to be. Also from this day forward there will be a Restrengthening of the Union and Alliance between House Dok'Marr and House K'pel and I raise a tankard of Bloodwine to My Brother and Sister, may you Live Long and Prosper with Honor and Glory.

House K'pel can trace it start to the time of Kahless and is a open house. Our heritage is rich and very Honorable and has played a active roll during Kahless time, during the Civil War and the Dominion War. We can trace or line back to Kahless himself. House K'pel is 98% Imperial Klingon with 2% Human from a Marriage to another Klingon House during the Time of Kirk the most dreaded and some say most Honorable enemy of the Empire at that time.

House K'pel is allied to House Dok'Marr after the marriage between Lady Vekma and Lord K'pel. Lady Vekma was the mate of the former epetaI K'Log and after his disappearance of 5 years she had him declared dead by the High Council.

theld qlIStIy (Khlysty) is a closed Imperial House. Much of our house history is oral tradition and has yet to be written down. Our House is intertwined greatly with my religious order (qaptaQ) which is the only club that house members are currently in. In role play, all members of the house subscribe to the religious beliefs of the qaptaQ, although not all members are in the order as such. We draw allot from FASA as well as Trek on screen and several of the better Klingon themed books. In real life we are small, and this is by design.

We were formed at a time when many were leaving the comfortable confines of FASA for fan created houses. Our original members were in a club that put creativity above canon, and this house was a direct response to that.

theld qlIStIy always has been and always will be a Klingon house. We do not subscribe to the Great Lie that is a peaceful coexistence with the fedegon. There are no Vulcans allowed in the Empire who are not tharavul. Fusions are an abomination on our people. The former Cardasian union is still a protectorate of the Empire, as we conquered much of it while they were busy giving in to the Dominion. Nuff Said.

House tSepeS was developed under House VamPyr, starting in 2005. The House VamPyr and the IKV Mystic VamPyr (their Flag-ship) based in Denver, Co & tSepeS is based in El Paso, Tx. We continued to grow under the VamPyr banner, until March of 2008, when we became our own House/club, separate but in league with our founding House.

One of the most often asked questions we get, is "Do I have to be a vampire to join"? The answer to this is "Absolutely not"!

What we have done is combined our love of things Goth, Vampire and all things dark into our role play as Klingons. We thought about this long and hard, and with so many other references in the Star Trek Universe of cross-cultural histories (similar histories shared on far flung planets), stories and mythos, that it seemed that it would not be completely out of place to have a Klingon 'sect' that had some sort of "Immortal, blood sucking - god like critter" to follow.

In my researches, I found the work of the Monastery of Grethor, and inside was the god, jagh'ghoS:

"jagh'ghoS was the youngest and most violent of his siblings. He is the god of rage and is only associated with death and carnage. Very few clans worshipped him, but those who did were known across the planet for their destructive behavior. The followers of this god were nomads; having little respect for life, they left a trail of death. They had no outside clans as allies and would attack for no reason. Many clans fell in battle as a blood sacrifice to jagh'ghoS.
Because the worshipers of this god were nomads, there was no temple built in his honor. Instead, his followers built monumental pillars that were about twenty feet in height and constructed out of the skulls of conquered clans.

The clans of jagh'ghoS thrived for two centuries before the time of Kahless and then suddenly vanished. No one knows for sure the reason for this abrupt disappearance, but the people of the time believed that the clans had displeased their god and suffered his wrath. Today's theories are that the chaotic violence that the worshipers of jagh'ghoS sought to harness finally destroyed them."

Then, I found James Dixons' compilation of all things Trek (Books, tv, movies, comics, etc.) and discovered the Fury's (NOT furries!). The Fury's were an ancient species with tech that seemed god-like, and there was a war of, well, Biblical proportion. This race and the ones that defeated them (The Unclean) could well be the basis for all the redundancy in mythos in Trek - why there are Greek gods on some planets outside of Earth, and all that jazz. So I combined them, having jagh'ghoS be one of the few Furies that escaped to a planet (Qo'noS) and hid out, instead of being eradicated.

So, it just seemed a natural way to go in creating this bit of the time/story-line.

You can read further about that in our House History (qun tuq) thread.

So, that is the basis for why tSepeS is a bit different than other houses. We just play a different, expanded view of Klingon culture.

As a club, we do work to raise some monies for local charities and are working on getting into the schools to do more on science/space awareness. We figure, if we go in as what 'could be there' it just might get some kid excited about it and become the next Einstein or Hawkins.

As a group, our interests are as varied as any other: BSG, Star Wars, Sci-Fi in general; Fantasy and gaming, and some combat trainings, as well. We have a pretty well rounded group, and we have all become darn good friends, which in the end, is what enjoying fandom is all about.

We are a free house to join, though we don't mind the occasional donation, to help cover costs of fuel and hotel rooms when we travel out of town. We prefer full blooded Klingon for House members, but alien species that prove their mettle can earn a place of honor beside the other house members. The only thing we do not allow into the house are furries/furry-fusions. They look to much like food, and that just starts problems.

My line is one of the FASA house lines, and at one time was a large group in many of the fan groups.

Looking forward to the members who come to speak here of their Houses--I was Rustadz. Essentially lineless, but adopted (classic old Roman style, as an adult, by an adult) into the House Kurkura, always a Fun House!
