Warriors of the Klingon Empire come to drink and sing songs of past glory

Well This is my Valentines Interview....Wildly attractive...with those deep....'hooded'...eyes..Know what I mean girls wink wink!

1) well John..make yourself comfy...As a non-ridged Klingon..have you
any opinions on how the Klingons have evolved as a race thru Trek
films and all of the Star Trek series
..
I think that it is a mark of the popularity of the Klingons, that there is so much now written and filmed about them as a race. It is good to see that they are no longer just the evil empire, although some of their values are really questionable by our standards. The TOS Klingons did seem to be more prone to being ruthless in dealings with other races. I think that being human fusion Klingons (as we now know) left them with something to prove to their ridge head brothers. I am glad that the reason for human looking Klingons were not just left as a lack of time and money. In the Phase II episode "Kitumba" you will see and sense the tension between the two kinds of Klingons. (as well as seeing them locked in battle).

2) As an actor...We'd love to hear of any other roles you've done...and funny
and fascinating events that may have happened to you while playing your
Klingon persona

I have been an actor for 25 years now, and I have done many roles for TV and film. If you go to my website you will see my bio and plenty of photographs www.johncarrigan.co.uk I did have one funny event happen while playing a Klingon on the mini series Star Trek Of Gods And Men, where I played several parts as ridge headed Klingons. It was a terrible hot day in the studio and the Klingon battle armour and make up was almost un bearable. I was supposed to be hit over the head or shot from behind. so as I reacted to being hit I threw my head forward before I fell. On about the sixth take, the heat had got to my make up, and as I lunged forward my ridge head came loose and jumped off of my head and hung over my face. I just stood there with all the studio in fits of laughter. The Director (Tim Tuvok Russ) came over to me and whispered in my ear. "I don't think we will use this take OK"

3) Do you have any favorite Star Trek films ? Episodes? and indeed..
actors and actresses...if so who and what ones.

For me it has to be TOS series and movies. I am a huge Kirk fan. (but I know Kargh is not).

4) Is there any other race you would like to play a role as..and why...
P.S. Caitains are a great race...gotta love the tail

I think an Andorian would be fun to play. I am also a martial arts instructor, so playing strong warrior races seems to suite me

(So I guess Caitians are out,,,says a muttering Lushy)

.
5) Do you have a favorite book and author..if so..who and what book
Do you have a favourite type of music? if so..who

I do like the works of Charles Dickens, especially "A Christmas Carol" and "Oliver Twist". As for my tast in music. Well remember I only play a Klingon so....I love any songs about Love, and lost Love. So my taste is really quite mellow. Dare I say, "The Carpenters" "Barry Manilow" (Sorry Folks) I am a hopeless romantic at heart. I also like American soft Rock.

6) I must say..for a Klingon..your attractive...What is your favorite female
race (If Any) and why.

I am talking here for myself and Kargh so, All female races are magic in their own way, as long as they are beautiful, strong, and sexy....

Hope for some of us yet thinks Lushy!

7) well...this will be my last question...Ive had communique from a certain Duras
sister...can you confirm - or deny - that you have a lil 'Black' book
of intergalactic private numbers...your answer is safe with me.

Kargh could tell you, but then he would have to kill you (or put you in the book)

Regards

John (Qapl'a from Kargh)
