1) Honorable Qaolin. You strike me as a Klingon who if dared would do anything.
Is there any DARE you wouldn't do. If so,what is it?
It's not so much a question of "wouldn't do" but rather "wouldn't do again". I will never again eat 20 Habenero poppers from Salvadore Molly's in one sitting nor will I ever again eat a Dalek made from wasabi.
2) You have a wonderful sense of humor. Could you share a humorous tale or two with us?
There was that time I was performing Klingon Karaoke at my usual watering hole when members of the Portland Cacophony Society came in an made a big play while I was onstage of tossing women's underwear at me. Then there is the Norwescon Squirrel Hunt. Rather than retell that here go to
http://qaolin.tripod.com/id33.htm for the full write up.
3) Everyone has embarrassing moments..what are yours?...psssttttt wink wink...
you DID promise NOT to say why I was in your quarters....
Embarrassing? No,never. Awkward, yes. Most awkward: bringing home a groupie after I finished my show for the night. Let's just say she was the same age of my own child (but over 21...let me stress that) and had no volume control. The next morning we came out of the bed room and my roommate was at the table with her coffee and was she ever giving me the hairy eyeball. What can you do? Send your date on her way and get a big cup of coffee holding your head high.
4) How have you passed your journey through life.? What is your profession?
Do you like cars or motorcycles? What are you hobbies, if you have any?
I've done all the usual things one considers normal. I've procreated, divorced, loved and lost and said "sod that". I've been a professional chef for my entire life and am tired of the profession. I did a stint as a substitute teacher which explains all the corrections I've done on you questions. BOO HISS heckles from Lushy here !!!! Now I collect experiences and my profession is to try to make everyone's day a little more surreal. My dream car is a toss-up between a 1955 Chevy drop-top and an M24 Chaffee light-tank.
5) Do you have a favorite star trek character? If so,who?
Do you have a favorite star trek episode and why it's your
favorite?
My true favorite was K'mpec (Charles Cooper). The man had presence and authority and said more with a grunt than most said in an entire speech. As far as a favorite episode, I would have to say DS9: Once More Into the Breach. That was a full Klingon episode with all the Shakespearean overtones which make Klingon stories so epic.
6) Now I've heard serious rumours Qaolin..from an unknown source..wink wink...
That you have been seen scaling the walls...concubines following...going to
a 'certain' persons quarters...hmmm now Qaolin..confess...just WHO is this
mysterious person..whom you would scales walls for??
The stars will talk before I do. Let us just say that, as a linguist, I am often consulted by others to instruct them in the ways of using the mother tongue.
Thank you Qaolin..for accepting this fun and informative interview
and I am in your debt...for your willing answers
smootchies n hugs
